Naruto is one of the best anime that I have come across. The story revolves around Naruto Uzumaki, an orphaned kid who is mistreated by his fellow villagers because of a past incident, and his conquest to become the Hokage (a title bestowed on the village’s leader) so that everybody in the village acknowledge and respect him.
The journey that Naruto goes through has abundant real life lessons to offer to the audience and that is what makes this anime great! So buckle up guys, here are the top 3 life lessons we can learn from the hyperactive ninja Naruto Uzumaki.

1. Never Give-up Attitude:
Naruto as kid was a total failure in the eyes of the society he lived in. He has no talent whatsoever for becoming a Ninja and even failed the graduation exam twice. Most of the times, he would act as a fool to draw attention to him and still people won’t accept him as a member of their clan. He was also made to feel that he is the odd man out or a freak and that too when he was just a 7 year old kid!
But as Jiraiya aptly said ‘A real ninja is one who endures no matter what gets thrown at him… Let me explain something to you, there is only one thing that matters if you are a shinobi, and it isn’t the number of jutsu you possess. All you do need, is the guts to never give up.’
He endured all the negativity and hatred thrown at him. He neither gave up upon his dreams nor upon his fellow villagers who only saw him as a nuisance. His empathy toward his fellows arose from the understanding of his own pain and sorrow and in due course, he helped others who suffered the same fate.
2. Believe, You can achieve your dreams!
Believing in your own abilities is the key to achieve success in one’s life. Naruto despite being treated like an outcast never questioned his beliefs as he knew ‘Once you question your own belief, it’s over!‘
In-spite of every reason available to get consumed by revenge instead he focused on his dream to become an Hokage and how he will bring peace to the Ninja world by breaking the endless cycle of Hatred. He made me realize how important it is to have a dream and the meaning it adds to our lives.
His conviction was so strong that even his adversaries could not help but acknowledge him and even at times put their trust in him. He used the power of his dream to overcome all the challenges that came in his path and forge ahead.
3. Never go back on your words:
That’s the motto Naruto abides by. Everyone has some principles in their lives that they cannot compromise. These valuable principles not only add depth to your character, they also make you trust-able in the eyes of others.
Naruto used this motto throughout the series whenever he was faced with a superior adversary or when someone questioned his dream, it was his way to derive power from within himself At the same time, it would motivate others around him.
Because Naruto followed his motto with firm resolution, he was able to change the hearts of people around him. And in time, he also changed the heart and mindset of his fellow villagers who accepted him as their hero and subsequently the seventh Hokage.
Conclusion:
For me, Naruto is more than just an anime or manga. It is the quintessential way of life, what he termed as ‘the ninja way‘. I will conclude by quoting Rocky Balboa’s take on life, as the thought perfectly encapsulates what Naruto is all about.
“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!“
